Obituary: Norman Victor Etherton, 60, Lebanon Junction
Norman Victor Etherton, 60, of Lebanon Junction, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. He was a lineman for P&E Electric and attended Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Walter Etherton Sr. and Lena Mae Raley Etherton; three sisters, Mary Lillian Woods, Jeanie Humphrey and Susie McCubbins; and one brother, Bobby Etherton.
Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Etherton Avritt (Peter) and Heather Etherton Stefater (John); six brothers, Clifford Etherton, Tommy Etherton, Donnie Etherton, J.W. Etherton, Roy Etherton and Stanley Etherton; three sisters, Ruby Lee, Edna Simpson and Beverly Thurman; and six grandchildren.
The funeral is noon Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church with Bro. Michael Nalley officiating. Burial is in the Deerhaven Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, and 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.
