Obituary: Elizabeth G. Hardin, 80, Bardstown
Elizabeth G. Hardin, 80, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017. She was a native of New Haven. She was a homemaker and member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mount Washington.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Daniel Hardin; one grandson, Andrew Burkhead; her parents, Joseph Edward and Mattie Masterson Johnson; and three brothers, Joseph Johnson, Charles Johnson and James Johnson.
Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Ray Hardin; four daughters, Brenda Watts, Linda Hicks, Debra Clemens, and Sharon Hardin; three sons, Larry Ray Hardin, Jeffrey Dewayne Hardin and Joseph Richard Hardin; four sisters, Mary Smith, Dorothy Hourigan, Mary Johnson, and Judy Brown; two brothers, Herman Johnson and William “Billy” Johnson; 13 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
The memorial service is 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested to the American Kidney Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
