Obituary: Anita Carol Drury Milburn, 49, Chaplin
Anita Carol Drury Milburn, 49, of Chaplin, died at 10:21 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. She was born in Louisville on Nov. 24, 1967, to the late Kenneth and Christine Gaffney Drury. She attended the Willisburg Church of God Of Prophecy and was a secretary for Purnell Sausage Company.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Milburn; one daughter, Alicia Milburn of Chaplin; one son, Brandon Milburn (Shana) of Bardstown; two sisters, Brenda Casey (Tim) of Cox’s Creek and Harriett Ritter (Willie) of Mount Washington; one brother, Terry Drury (Verna) of Shepherdsville; and four grandchildren, Noah Puckett, Serenity Puckett, Elizabeth Milburn and Gabriel Milburn;
The funeral is 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2017 at the Willisburg Church of God Of Prophecy with the Rev. Keith Creech, the church pastor, officiating. Burial is in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Casey, Willie Ritter, Jordan Casey, Keith Gaffney, Tommy Jewell, Darrell Jewell, Tyler Hardin and Glen Thompson.
The Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
