Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, 12:40 a.m. – The Nelson County Board of Education met in regular session Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, and approved a staffing formula that will have the New Haven and Boston schools sharing one assistant principal position. The board is expected to consider other staffing options for that position at both schools. The board approved the draft 2017-18 budget, set the days to make up for two snow days missed, and approved change orders for the Early Learning Center and Thomas Nelson High School construction projects.  Running time: About 1 hour, 24 minutes.
