Obituary: Margery Neal Driskell, 90, formerly of Nelson County

MARGERY NEAL DRISKELL

Margery Neal Driskell, 90, of Louisville, formerly of Nelson County, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was born July 8, 1926, in Nelson County to the late Horace and Elizabeth Stevens Neal. She was a 32 year employee of Enro Shirt Company and a member of the Cooper Memorial United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Forrest K. Driskell, one sister; Aileen McClain; and one brother; Humphrey “Buck” Neal Sr.

She is survived by one brother; Horace Neal Jr. of Bloomfield; one niece and four nephews.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Greg Smith officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery.

Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
