Obituary: Barbara Ann Donahue, 73, Bardstown

BARBARA ANN DONAHUE

Barbara Ann Donahue, 73, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, at her residence. She was born July 29, 1943, in New Haven. She retired from Jim Beam’s Distillery after 42 years. She was a member of AARP, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a volunteer for the St. Vincent DePaul Mission Store.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Margaret Bryan; and one brother, Danny Bryan.

She is survived by three sons, David (Billie Jo) Donahue, Chris (Kelly Newton) Donahue, and Scott (Tammy) Donahue, all of Bardstown; three sisters, Louise Morris of New Hope, Mary Burton and Betty Hardin, both of Bardstown; one brother, Edward Bryan of New Haven; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery with the Rev. Wilfredo Fernandez officiating.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 and 8-9:15 a.m. Saturday at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to St. Vincent DePaul Mission Store.
