Edith Mae Wilson, 88, of Shepherdsville, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson; her parents, Paul and Mary Piper; five sisters, Ruby Irene Miksell, Ella Jane Hunt, Alice McNear, Ruth Baker, and Roberta Gentry; two brothers, Edward Piper and Marvin Piper; and one grandson, Justin Troutman.
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Strunk (Michael) of Cox’s Creek, Marcella Troutman (Roy Gene) of Shepherdsville, and Sandra Thomas of Bardstown; two sons, Gary Wilson (Angela) of Bloomfield, and Richard Wilson (Betty); two sisters, Jo Ann Emmert of Louisville and Carol Hunt of Elizabethtown; 17 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at the Maraman-Billings Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Thomas officiating. Burial is in the Cedar Grove Cemetery
Visitation will is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The Maraman-Billings Funeral Home, 605 Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, is in charge of arrangements.
