JANIS LUCILLE  ‘JAN’ COULTER

Janis Lucille “Jan” Coulter, 66, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born July 25, 1950, in Nelson County to the late Edward Franklin and Sara Margaret Hall Brewer. She was a former office administrator, having worked at Flaget Hospital in Bardstown and Methodist Hospital in New Orleans. She was a member of the Baptist faith and was married in Bardstown Baptist Church.

She grew up under the care of her late aunt and uncle; Robert and Lucille Fransworth.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald L. “Ronnie” Coulter; one daughter, Robin Lewis of Bardstown; one son, Jeff (Jolie) Coulter of Bardstown; three sisters, Leaffie (Larry) True of Versailles, Donna (Joe) Hutchinson of Nicholasville and Cheri (Steve) Keeling of Bardstown; one brother, Frankie (Dottie) Brewer of Nashville; four grandchildren, Jacob Mattingly, Jordan (Robbie) Ralston, Sydney Coulter and Lainey Coulter; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road with Dr. Randall Pollock officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
