Obituary: Helen T. Holt, 73, Mount Washington

Helen T. Holt, 73 , of Mount Washington, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017. She was a native of Chaplin and a retired lunchroom manager at Mount Washington Elementary. She was former owner of H&H Ceramics in Mount Washington and a member of Living Hope Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by one son, Sheldon Holt; her parents, Fred and Alma Trent; and one sister, Margaret Burkhead.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Glen Holt; two daughters, Penny Bringhurst and Annette Murphy (Jeff); two sisters, Ruth Coulter and Edna Pollett; five grandchildren, Ryan Bringhurst (Mollie), Aaron Bringhurst (Amanda), Charlene Murphy, Danielle Murphy and Hanna Murphy; and five great-grandchildren, Alexis, Oliver, Jack, Brayden, Cole and Lennon.

The funeral was Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at Living Hope Baptist Church, 10205 Bardstown Bluff Road with burial in Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.

The Schmid Funeral Home in Mount Washington was in charge of arrangements.
