PHILIP DREW BUCKMAN

Philip Drew Buckman, 74, of Saint Joe, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, at his farm in Saint Joe. He was born May 7, 1942, in Marion County. He was a lifelong farmer, a devout Catholic and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Louise Wathen Buckman; two brothers, Larry and Randall Buckman; two great-grandchildren, Aryonna McRay and Jaxson Tucker.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Rosetta Reynolds Buckman; two daughters, Lisa Buckman of Saint Joe and Tammy Kinard (Ed) of Danville; one son, Eddie Buckman (Mindy) of Saint Joe; one sister, Kathleen Buckman of Lebanon; nine grandchildren, Jessica McRay, Justin Brady, Johnathan Williamson, Blake Buckman, Adrienne Tucker, Candace Tucker, Lauren Townley, Allison Buckman, Caroline Buckman; and three great-grandchildren, Dominique Buckman, James Buckman and Chevy McRay.

The Mass of Christian Burial was 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at St. Charles Catholic Church, 675 Highway 327, Lebanon.  Burial was in Saint Joe Cemetery with the Rev. David W. Naylor presiding.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may go to the Saint Joe Community Center c/o Frank Reynolds, 300 Clear Creek Road, Raywick, KY 40060

Pallbearers were Johnathan Williamson, Justin Brady, Blake Buckman, Larry Thomas, Timmy Miles and Stewart Richerson.  His grandchildren and great-grandchildren served as Honorary Pallbearers.

The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto was in charge of arrangements.
