Obituary: Cecil Robinson, 78, Bardstown

Cecil Robinson, 78, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at Baptist Health. He was born June 26, 1938, in Spencer County. He was owner of Kentucky Home Liquors.

He is preceded in death by his previous wife, Roberta Gayle Robinson; his parents, John and Ada Robinson; two sisters, Betty Jean Young and Joetta Standiford; and two brothers, George Robinson and Jack Robinson.

He is survived by one daughter, Deborah Lyvers of Bardstown; two sons, Joseph Terry Unseld and Michael Cecil Robinson, both of Bardstown; four sisters, Tilly Harp of Titusville, Fla., Mary Elizabeth Bandy of Bowling Green, Susie Howard of Harlan and Linda Robinson Lyvers of Bardstown; one brother, Steve Robinson of Boston; four grandchildren, Timmy Lyvers, Tonya Coulter, Terri R. Unseld, and Morgan Robinson; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Ray Johnson officiating.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
