Obituary: James Anthony ‘Tony’ Etherton, 61, Lebanon Junction

James Anthony “Tony” Etherton, 61, of Lebanon Junction, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at his home. He was a mechanic with Vantage Inc. and a member of Belmont Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda L. Rice Etherton; and his grandparents, James Walter and Lena Mae Etherton, and Calvin and Nora Lee Rice.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Sue “Susie” Parrish Etherton; one son, James Derek Etherton; his father, James W. Etherton Jr., two sisters, DeNealtha Ryan and DeReatha Stine; two brothers, Ricky Etherton and Mitchell Etherton; and one grandchild, Linley Etherton.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with Bro. Bob Tipton officiating. Burial is in the Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.

Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.

The Kappel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
