Obituary: Carla Lynn Hardesty, 35, Bardstown
Carla Lynn Hardesty, 35, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. She was born June 30, 1981, in Lexington. She went to Active Day for 16 years, where they became her extended family. She was a member of Nelson County Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Snider Hardesty; her paternal grandfather, Carl Hardesty; her maternal grandfather, Lee Dock; and one uncle, Christopher “Kippy” Hite.
She is survived by her mother, Connie Hardesty of Bardstown; one sister, Rebecca Leigh Hardesty of Louisville; her paternal grandmother, Minnie Snider Hardesty of Bardstown; her maternal grandmother, Helen Dock of Bardstown; two aunts, Charlotte (Steve) McCowan of Lexington, and Kathie Hardesty Hite of Bardstown; two uncles, Mark (Carolyn) Dock of Wilmore, and Richard “Rick” Hardesty of Tampa, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is noon Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown with Bro. Ray Johnson officiating. Burial is in Poplar Flat Cemetery.
Visitation is 10 a.m. -noon Saturday at the funeral home.
