MOLLY BAKER

Molly Baker, 86, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born March 31, 1930, in Bardstown. She became a member of First Baptist Church at an early age, and joined First Baptist Church under the pastoralship of Rev. J.S. Hanley. She attended church until her health declined.

Survivors include three daughters, Bonnie Spalding, Pamela Livers, and Renee (Ron) Turner, all of Bardstown; two sons, Timothy Baker of Bardstown and Rodney (Denise) Baker of Durham, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; special nephew that she cared for Leroy “Junie” Gilbert; a special extended family that showed her so much love and support during her illness; and a host of relatives and friends.

The funeral service is 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at the First Baptist Church of Bardstown with burial in Bardstown Cemetery with the Rev. Michael N. Smith officiating.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 and 9-2 p.m. Monday at the church.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
