Obituary; Ronald Merritt ‘Ronnie’ Holt, 50, Bloomfield

Ronald Merritt “Ronnie” Holt, 50, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at his residence. He was born Feb. 9, 1967, in Bardstown to the late Robert A. and JoAnn Hood Holt.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Holt.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred “Millie” Dobson Holt; one brother; Gary (Sheila) Holt of Acworth, Ga.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Mike Thompson officiating. Burial is in Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
