Obituary: Ruby Ellen ‘Sissy’ Lee, 85, Lebanon Junction

Ruby Ellen “Sissy” Lee, 85, of Lebanon Junction, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at her home. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Lebanon Junction.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Lee Sr.; an infant daughter; her parents, James Walter Etherton Sr. and Lena Mae Raley Etherton; three sisters, Susie McCubbins, Mary Woods and Jeanie Humphrey; two brothers, Bobby Etherton and Norman Etherton; one granddaughter, Misty Cunningham; and one great grandson, Kodie Lee.

Survivors include three sons, Johnny Lee (Jerri), Jack Lee (Tammy) and Jamie Lee (Blenda); one daughter, Kandy Lee (Bobby); two sisters, Edna Simpson (Roger) and Beverly Thurman (Bobby); six brothers, Tommy Etherton (Beverly), J.W. Etherton, Donnie Etherton (Faye), Clifford Etherton (Barbara), Stanley Etherton (Bridgett) and Roy Etherton (Wilma); 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The funeral is noon Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with Bro. Mike Nalley officiating. Burial is in the Lee Cemetery.

Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
