Bardstown man indicted Wednesday for possession of child pornography

Wednesday, March 1, 2017, 11 p.m. — A Bardstown man was indicted Wednesday, March 1, 2017 on 20 counts of possession of child pornography.
A Nelson County grand jury indicted Robert McIntosh, 12/31/71, of Bardstown on 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
According to the indictment, on Dec. 20, 2016, McIntosh was found in possession of the images. The Kentucky State Police Detective Mitchel Hazelett of the KSP’s Electronic Crime Branch testified regarding the evidence before the grand jury.
The charge is a Class D felony, each count punishable by one to five years in prison.
Bail was set at $20,000 cash only, plus conditions.
McIntosh’s arraignment was set for Thursday, March 16, 2017, in Nelson Circuit Court.
