Obituary: Judy Ann Satterly, 71, Bardstown
Judy Ann Satterly, 71, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at her residence. She was born Dec. 24, 1945, in Marion County to the late Thomas Albert and Anna Marie (Newton) Newton. She was a retired department manager for Walmart. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother and 
great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and former altar society and choir member.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Satterly; on son, Christopher(Chris) Lee Satterly; three sisters, Susan Mattingly, Brenda Sue Newton and Pauline Curtsinger; two brothers, David Newton and Carl Newton.
She is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Ann Satterly (fiance’ Stanley Williams), Kathy (Arthur) Fournier and Tara Michelle (Chad) Reynolds, all of Bardstown; two sisters, Mary Ann (Freddie) Willett and Nancy Mattingly, both of Bardstown; one brother, Jerry Newton of St. Francis; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Basilica of St. Joseph Proto Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery with the Rev. Terry Bradshaw as celebrant.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, with a prayer service Friday night at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road.
The family requests memorial contributions go to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
