County fire responds Sunday for brush fire near Woodlawn Springs

Monday, March 6, 2017 — The Nelson County Fire Department responded Sunday afternoon to the area of South Howard Street in Woodlawn Springs subdivision for a report of a brush fire out of control. Firefighters were dispatched for the fire just after 3 p.m. Sunday. The fire was located off the roadway, and no homes or other structures were endangered. Firefighters were on the scene for about 30 minutes.
