Obituary: Mary Alice Edelen, 69, Louisville

Mary Alice Edelen, 69, of Louisville, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at her residence. She was born Aug. 19, 1947, in Lebanon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hillary Edelen; her parents, George William and Mary Cornita Thornton Miller; one sister, Patricia Ann Cowherd; three brothers, George B. Miller, Michael Allen Miller and George N. Miller.

Survivors include two daughters, Cornita (Michael) Wright of Bardstown and Ebony (Keishaun) Pryor of Louisville; one son, Tony (Loquetha) Edelen of Louisville; two sisters, Mary Anna Walker and Geraldine Sanders, both of Lebanon; two brothers, Ronald L. Miller of Henderson and Terry Miller of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral is noon Monday, March 13, 2017, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon officiated by Pastor Mike Ward with burial in the Lebanon National Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017, at the funeral home.
