Obituary: Joseph Vernon ‘Joe’ Kendall III, 66, Bardstown

Joseph Vernon “Joe” Kendall III, 66, of Bardstown, died Thursday, March 2, 2017, at his home.

He was a licensed Amateur Radio operator for more than 25 years. He was first licensed as KE4JYC, the callsign he later changed to AJ4TZ after he upgraded to Amateur Extra class. He was formerly president of the Kentucky Amateur Radio Society and and was the county coordinator of the Nelson County Amateur Radio Emergency Service volunteer communications group.

No services or visitation were announced.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
