Obituary: John T. Mattingly, 65, Lebanon
John T. Mattingly, 65, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at his residence. He was a proud veteran who served in Korea in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Aloysius Mattingly and one sister, Mary Rita Mattingly.
Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly (Brendan) Culliton; one son, John Thomas (Heather) Mattingly Jr.; his mother, Dortha E. Mattingly; five sisters, Linda Hagan, Sharon Mudd, Cheryl Yates, Polly Newton, and Carol Thompson; two brothers, James Mattingly and Charlie Mattingly; and a special friend, Rose Ann Clark; and nine grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2017, at Bosley Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Gary Chesser with burial in the Lebanon National Cemetery.
Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form on contributions to the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
