Obituary: Francis Earl Fields, 84, Springfield

Francis Earl Fields, 84, of Cissellville Road, Springfield, died at 3:14 p.m. Wednesday March 15, 2017, at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Hamilton Fields; two daughters, Wanda Clark of Loretto and Lisa Browning of Lebanon; three sons, Ricky Fields, Bobby Fields and Mark Fields, all of Springfield; one sister, Isabelle Fields Foster of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; and eight grandchildren.

The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Springfield with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017, and 7-10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield. A prayer service is 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
