Obituary: William Christopher ‘Chris’ Miles, 55, Bardstown

William Christopher “Chris” Miles, 55, of Bardstown, died Friday, March 24, 2017, at his home. He was born on Aug. 9, 1961, in Marion County to the late Paul Lawrence and Mary Leona Cissell Miles. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Lawrence Miles.

He is survived by four sisters, Connie (Bob) Skimmerhorne of Loretto, Phyllis Nalley, Shirley Tingle and Stacie Miles, all of Bardstown; three brothers, Danny (Sue) Miles of St. Francis, Keith (Stacey) Miles and Tracy (Becky) Miles, both of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2017, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, Bardstown with the Rev. Wilfredo Hernandez officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
