Obituary: Carolyn Sue Marksbury, 75, Mount Washington

CAROLYN SUE MARKSBURY

Carolyn Sue Marksbury, 75, of Mount Washington, died Monday, March 27, 2017, at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was the former Carolyn Hagan, born Jan. 24, 1942, in Fairfield to the late James and Ruby Gritton Hagan. She was a retired employee of General Electric and a member of Parkland Baptist Church in Louisville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Donnie Marksbury.

She is survived by two daughters, Martha (Richard) McLin of Louisville and Penny Marksbury of Mount Washington; three sons, Jim Marksbury and Tim (Joanne) Marksbury, both of Louisville and Paul Marksbury of Clarkson; one sister, Judy (Bobby) Lutz of Fairfield; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is Friday, March 31, 2017, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. David Clay officiating. Burial is in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
