Brief agenda set for this evening’s Bardstown City Council meeting

Tuesday, March 4, 2017 — Tonight’s Bardstown City Council working session is expected to be fairly short due to the lack of items on the agenda.
The council will receive a report on Councilwoman Kecia Copeland’s recent trip to Washington,, D.C. for the National Preservation Conference and Kentucky Historic Preservation Advocacy Day. The council will also review the travel and training policy and finance.
The council will approve of a hearing officer for the planned April 12, 2017, public hearing regarding the findings of facts alleged in the recent report by council investigators.
The council will also have the opportunity to approve the appointment of Jodi Jenkins to the the Joint Human Rights Commission to fill the unexpired term of Mike Yaden.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. tonight in the council chambers next to the Rec Center, and will follow a 4 p.m. electric and cable committee meeting will precede the council meeting.
