Obituary: Johnny Leo Mattingly, 70, formerly of Marion County
Johnny Leo Mattingly, 70, of Lancaster, formerly of Marion County, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. He was born May 1, 1946, in Loretto. He was a polio survivor and a Catholic by faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Adrian and Janie Elizabeth Miles Mattingly; two sisters, Margaret Drury and Louise Hundley; and three brothers, Lawrence Mattingly, J.C. Mattingly and J.A. Mattingly.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Peel Mattingly; two sisters, Mary Drury (Bertie) of Louisville and Isabel “Sissy” Barlow of Lebanon; and one brother, Chip Mattingly (Rilda) of Elizabethtown.
The funeral is 5 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with burial in the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery with Deacon Joseph R. Dant will preside.
Visitation is 3-5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Chip Mattingly, Jerry Nalley, Danny Nalley, Scotty Barlow, Gary Barlow and Timmy Drury.
The Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
