Melvin Leroy Copenhaver Jr., 66, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. He was born May 22, 1950, in Greenport, N.Y. to the late Melvin Sr and Ida Elizabeth Smith Copenhaver. He was a retired truck driver.

The family followed his wishes of cremation with no public services.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
