Obituary: Ruthie Mae Case, 75, Bloomfield

Ruthie Mae Case, 75, of Bloomfield, died Wednesday, May 03, 2017, at the residence of her son. She was born April 21, 1942, in Bloomfield to the late Sam and Mattie Baker Case. She was a retired employee of General Electric and a member of the Bloomfield Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Thompson and Pauline Hardin; and three brothers, Samuel Case, Theodore Case, and Rome Case.

She is survived by two sons, James Kevin (Rita) Humes of Willisburg and William Jake Humes of Pottstown, Penn.; one sister sister, Judy (Paul) Jantzen of Bloomfield; five brothers, Roy Lee Case, Paul (Kathy) Case, Danny Dale Case, Edgar (Sue) Case, and Orville Case, all of Bloomfield; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Mark Speakman officiating with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
