Obituary: Bobby Wiley, 81, Bardstown

BOBBY WILEY

Bobby Wiley, 81, of Bardstown, died Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born May 7, 1935, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn. He retired from General Electric in Louisville. He was the owner of Wiley’s Transmission in Mount Washington. He was veteran of the U.S. Army who loved restoring cars. He was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Audrey Wiley; and one sister, Joyce Wiley.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Anna Wiley of Bardstown; one daughter, Vickie (Joe) Pusateri of Louisville; one son, Dennis (Toni) Wiley of Bardstown; one brother, Jack (Gabby) Wiley of Irvine, Calif.; two grandsons, Shane Wiley and Clayton Pusateri; and a bonus grandson, Travis Martin.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2017, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown with burial in Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington with the Rev. John Powell officiating.

Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Sunday May 7 and Noon to 1 pm Monday May 8 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
