EMS responds for report of early Sunday morning accidental shooting

Sunday, May 7, 2017, 1 p.m. — Bardstown Police and Nelson County EMS were dispatched at 2:51 a.m. Sunday morning to an apartment in the 1000 block of  North Third Street for a report of an accidental shooting. According to dispatchers, the injured person suffered a gunshot wound to the hand. EMS treated the victim at the scene and then transported the victim to a Louisville hospital for treatment.
