Obituary: Glenda Ann Heavrin, 81, Loretto

Glenda Ann Heavrin, 81, of Loretto, died Sunday, May 7, 2017, at her residence. She was born March 5, 1936, in Louisville to the late Harry and Daisy Huffines. She was a retired supervisor of timekeeping at G.E. Appliance Park in Louisville.

Survivors include her companion of 30 years, Philip Nalley of Louisville; two sons, David J. Heavrin II and Chris Heavrin (Gail), both of Louisville; three grandchildren, Shawn Heavrin (Stephanie) and Marissa Heavrin, both of Louisville and Phillip Heavrin of New Zealand.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6785 Highway 52, Loretto. Burial is in the church cemetery with the Rev. Bryan Lamberson officiating.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at the Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of arrangements.
