Martha Jean Cecil, 60, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bertram Cecil; two sisters, Betty Rae Green and Mary Flaget Cecil; one son-in-law, Derek Justin Jackson; and her companion, Dinwiddie L. Mathis.

She is survived by her mother, Ann Hutchins; one daughter, JoAnna Jackson Willett; one son, Joseph Alan Simpson; four sisters, Anna June Linton, Brenda Girdley (Billy), Bootsie Culver (Raffo), and Rita Smith; three brothers, B (Judy) Cecil, Tommy (Melissa) Cecil and Leonard Cecil; and her loving dog, Isabella.

The Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017, at St. Thomas Catholic Church.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.
