Margaret Evelyn Kleier Bidwell, 88, died Monday, May 8, 2017, surrounded by family and dear friends.
MARGARET EVELYN KLEIER BIDWELL
She loved to volunteer at St. Frances of Rome Church and Crescent Hill Ministries, and she worked at Barrett Middle School. She had a dedicated love for her family, her church, and animals. In her spare time she loved to play cards, to travel, and to help others.
Special thanks for the care she received at Atria Springdale, the Episcopal Church Home (Marmion Wing) and Dr. Jane Cornett.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George E. Kleier and Ivy Evelyn (Buch) Kleier; her beloved husband, James Stanley Bidwell; one daughter, Cecilia Maureen Bidwell; and her grandson, Ryan Bidwell.
She is survived by nine children: Chris (Mary Alice), Kevin (Sandra), Mary Theresa (Kenny), Katy (Dwight), Alan (Pam), Matt (Billie Jo), Andy (Rebecca), Lisa (Bryan), Marty, and Kevin Manning; 24 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2017, at St. Frances of Rome Church at Clifton and Payne Streets, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2017, and 9-9:30 Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may go to St. Frances of Rome Church or the local Humane Society.
