Obituary: Margaret Anne Hicks, 70, Shepherdsville

Margaret Anne Hicks, 70, of Shepherdsville, died Thursday, May 11, 2017, at her residence. She was born March 22, 1947 in Larue County. She was a retired employee of General Electric and a Catholic by faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Calista DeSpain; and one brother, Ray DeSpain.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, James Dennis Hicks; and two sisters, Wanda DeSpain of Shepherdsville and Faye Jaggers (Bill) of New Albany, Ind.

The funeral is 7 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with Deacon Joseph R. Dant presiding. Cremation will follow the service.

Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
