Obituary: James E. Perkins, 59, Bardstown

James E. Perkins, 59, of Bardstown, died Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Bardstown Health and Rehab. He was born Feb. 25, 1958, in Louisville. He was an employee for Sweep All in Louisville, and was a member of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lee Perkins.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy Perkins of Bardstown; one daughter, Stephanie Perkins of Bardstown; one son, Johnathan Perkins of Bardstown; his mother, LaVerne Downs of Bardstown; two brothers, Tim (Rhonda) Perkins of Bardstown and Steve (Renee) Perkins of Loretto; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen with no services.

The Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
