Obituary: Gina Elizabeth Sims, 50, Elizabethtown

Gina Elizabeth Sims, 50, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was a native of Hardin County and was employed as a nurse at the former Federal Hill Nursing Home in Bardstown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Sims; and her father, Norman Hoskinson.

She is survived by two children, Jessica Simler of Louisville and Joshua (Stephanie) Meador of Elizabethtown; her mother, Joyce Smith; one brother, Alan Hoskinson of Elizabethtown; and five grandchildren.

The funeral was 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Bro. Randy Logsdon officiating. Burial was in Hardin Memorial Park in Elizabethtown.

The Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown was in charge of arrangements.
