Obituary: Peggy Arlene Taylor, 64, Elizabethtown

Peggy Arlene Taylor, 64, of Elizabethtown, died Friday, May 12, 2017, at Helmwood Nursing Home in Elizabethtown with her family by her side. She was a Baptist by faith and a Kentucky Colonel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and June Hodge; and one brother, Frank Hodge.

Survivors include one daughter, Sheri Walls of Cecilia; four sisters, Rosemary King (Eugene) of Hodgenville, Patricia Gail Blackburn of Shepherdsville, and Pamela Stout and Karen Stivers (Phillip), both of Louisville; four brothers, William E. Hodge of Cox’s Creek, David Hodge (Shirley) and Ronald Hodge (Becky), both of Lebanon Junction and Allen Hodge (Joyce) of Shepherdsville; two grandchildren, Summer Walls and Tanner Walls; along with many other family members and friends.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with Bro. Troy Richards officiating. Burial is in the Vine Hill Cemetery.

Visitations is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The Maraman Billings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
