Obituary: Ernest ‘Ernie’ Lee Taylor, 71, Bardstown

Ernest “Ernie” Lee Taylor, 71, of Bardstown, died Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 1, 1945, in Taylorsville to the late Ernest Benjamin and Anna Mae Taylor. He was retired from General Electric and was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by three daughters, Anna Marie Lunsford of Greenville, S.C., Frances Sanford and Teresa Taylor, both of Louisville; three sons, James Taylor of Indiana, Bobby Mobley of Louisville and Dominique Taylor of Bardstown; three sisters, Jackie Curtsinger and Bobbie Humphrey, both of Bardstown, and Theresa Taylor of Louisville; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with burial in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 a.m. -3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
