Obituary: Edward A. Ash, 71, Louisville

Edward A. Ash, 71, of Louisville, died Sunday, May 21, 2017, at his home. He was a veteran of the National Guard and a Catholic by faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ewing Lay and Agnes Beatrice Casey Ash; one sister, Marcella Pendleton; and four brothers, John B. Ash, Alvin Ash, Raymond Ash, Phillip Ash and Joe Ash.

Survivors include one sister, Veronica Rose Hill (John) of Bardstown; two brothers, Don Ash and Bert Ash (Carol) of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Lebanon Junction with the Rev. Brian Kenney officiating. Burial is in St. Clare Cemetery in Colesburg.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
