Obituary: Orville ‘Knott’ Norman, 77, New Haven

Orville “Knott” Norman, 77, of New Haven, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Bardstown Health & Rehabilitation, Bardstown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Dora O’Neal Norman; and his siblings, Lloyd, Hattie, Hershall, Mary, Pearly May, Harry, Beatrice, Muzzetta, Melvin, Dora, David, Percy, and Otis.

He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Downs (Roger); three sisters, Juanita Dalton, Rosie Norman, and Wanda Mattingly; three brothers, Joe Norman, Johnny Norman, and James Norman; three grandchildren, Courtney, Kelsey, and Chasity Seals; and one great-granddaughter, Grace Seals.

The funeral is 10 a.m. Tuesday at New Haven Baptist Church with burial in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.
