Obituary: Donna Ruley Bowling, 56, Bardstown

Donna Ruley Bowling, 56, of Bardstown, died Monday, May 29, 2017, at her residence. She was born June 2, 1960, in Marion County. She was retired from American Greetings and was a member of the Catholic faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Doris Ruley; and one brother, Glenn Ruley.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Bowling of Bardstown; one daughter, Tiffany Carney of Bardstown; two stepchildren, Michael Bowling and Nikki Downs, both of Bardstown; two sisters, Rose Hamilton of Bardstown and Debbie Hamilton of Springfield; one brother, Joe Ruley of Fredericktown; one grandchild, Isabelle Carney; five stepgrandchildren, Charlie Bowling, Naomi Bowling, Jack Downs, John Mack Downs, and Lilly Grace Downs; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2017, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with the Rev. Terry Bradshaw officiating. Burial is in Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 3:30-8 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017, and 9-10:15 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2017 at Barlow Funeral Home.
