Obituary: Wanda Gail McHargue, 79, Bowling Green

Wanda Gail McHargue, 79, of Bowling Green, died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at her home. She was a native of Colesburg and a member of Colesburg Baptist Church. She was a former childcare worker for the First Baptist Church of Bowling Green.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry McHargue; one son, William Henry “Billy” McHargue Jr.; her parents, Clarence Paul and Dorothy Mildred Jackson Ash; one sister, Patty Sanders; and a brother, J.T. Ash.

Survivors include three daughters, Vickie Madison (Dewayne), Lisa Fowler and Kim Brownfield (Michael); six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.

The funeral is 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with burial in the Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.

Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
