Carolyn Devers Payne, 75 of New Haven, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at her residence. She was born August 17, 1941, in Louisville. She worked for the Gates Rubber Co.

She is survived by her husband, Michael D. Payne, Sr. of New Haven;

four children, Debbie Dever of Lexington, Connie (Harold) Woosley of Elizabethtown, Steve Dever of Elizabethtown, and Judy Smith of Lexington;

four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-grandchild; and one half-sister, Regina (Marlene) Sauleone.

There will a private service.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
