Obituary: Connie Lee Flint Morris, 70, Bardstown

Connie Lee Flint Morris, 70, of Bardstown, died peacefully at home Friday, June 9, 2017, in Bardstown. Formerly of Dixon, Ill., she was born in Oregon on Oct. 8, 1946. She went to school in Cambridge, IL at Sauk Valley Community College. She was retired from Borg Warner in Dixon before moving to Kentucky. She worked at Sumitok Magnetics and later retired from American Greeting in 2012. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurance Chester Morris; her parents, John and Eunice Leif Flint; one sister, Carole M. Johnson; and two brothers Ronnie Flint and Donnie Flint.

She is survived by two daughters, April L. Morris Heffner of Bardstown and Teresa Morris of Ashton, Ill.; two sisters, Sandy (Pat) Wilkins of Knoxville, Ill. and Jean (Paul) Smith of Sun City West, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Samantha Heffner, Elizabeth M. (Michael) Wright, Stephanie R. Williams, Adriana Morris, Tommie Vogeler and David Hoffman; and eight great-grandchildren, Kiara Wright, Michael Wright, Kaylie Hurst, Natalie Carney, Brianna Williams, DeZyrae Hoffman, Melanie Mundy and Emmit Mundy.

The memorial service is 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Barlow Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Lynch officiating.

Visitation os 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
