Obituary: John Henry Goatley, 79, formerly of Washington County

John Henry Goatley, 79, of Bronx, N.Y., formerly of Washington County, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York City.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Springfield with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017, and 7-10:15 a.m. Friday at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield.

The Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
