Water main break prompts boil water advisory in Pottershop area

Tuesday, June 27, 2017, 1 p.m. — A water main break in the Pottershop Road area has prompted the City of Bardstown to issue a boil water advisory for water customers at the following locations:

  • Pottershop Loop,
  • Pottershop Rd ending at 2749 Pottershop Road, including side streets such as Breezy Way, Windrift Court, Brentwood Lane, Ora Brent Lane, Cliffwood Drive and Ed Brent Lane.
  • 1998 Loretto Rd – 3311 Loretto Road including Hutchins Lane

Customers may experience low or intermittent water pressure, and, therefore, drinking water should be boiled as a precautionary measure.  Please follow the procedures provided. This boil water advisory notice will be in effect for approximately 2-3 days. The City will notify customers when the advisory is lifted.  If discoloration or air persists, please call City Hall at 502-348-5947.
