Obituary: Donald Anthony Adams, 55, Bardstown
Donald Anthony Adams, 55, of Bardstown, died Thursday, June 29, 2017, at his residence. He was born Dec. 4, 1961, in Bardstown to the late Dennis and Martha Crowe Adams. He was a former employee of Intertec, an employee of Newcomb Oil, an avid U.K. football and basketball fan, and loved horse racing. He always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Pat Adams.
He is survived by his wife, Karla Logsdon Adams; one son, Lance (Liz) Adams of Mount Washington; one stepdaughter, Renee (Alisha) Maupin; one stepson, Jonathon (Tara) Maupin; two sisters, Peggy (Charles David) Marksbury and Mary Ann (Danny) Trent, both of Bardstown; two brothers, Denny (Sandy) Adams and Bill (Margaret) Adams, both of Bardstown; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2017, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Matthew Hardesty officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2017, and after 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, with a 7 p.m. Sunday prayer service.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to Masses in his memory.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
