Still cruisin’ after all these years: A guide to Central Ky. classic car shows

Sunday, July 2, 2017 — Car shows are exciting and fortunately for Kentucky car enthusiasts, there are some great ones coming up in and around Nelson County, Kentucky beginning this summer. These shows will not only offer you some excitement with the great classic and collectible cars, but they also present a chance to have your own classic delivered where you can show off your own wheels as well.

Whiskey City Cruisers Show and Cruise

Come out the fourth Saturday of each month to watch the cruise and show. With many classics in the lineup, there is sure to be something for everyone. Whether you’re an enthusiast, just curious or want to bring your classic out for a cruise, this is the place to go. Happening from 2 to 9PM at the Pizza Hut on KY 245 in Kentucky Home Square Shopping Center in Bardstown. For more information, check out Whiskey Cruisers or call (502) 348-9788.

Village Cruisers Downtown Cruise-In, Elizabethtown

Head out to Downtown Elizabethtown for a great time with good people, food and a lots of classics. Happening the first Saturday of every month from 4 to 8 p.m., you can expect to see a good turnout at each of the events. Cruising for a Cause

Another great classic car show for a great cause. Come out on every second Saturday of each month from April to October for a good time. With vendors, classics and more, everyone will have something to do. Make sure to donate when you stop! From 5 to 10 p.m. at the Sonic Drive-in 1299 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY. Kentucky Railway Museum Annual Car Show

One of the biggest in the area, you can come out for some classics and a good time at the Kentucky Railway Museum. There will be awards, music, food, door prizes and more. Bring your classic or check out those that are being shown. Redline Car Show

Benefits the Children’s Heart Foundation, this is expected to be a large event this year. Come out and make some donations, enter your classic or just check out the classics on display. With many activities, vendors and more, this can be a fun family event. Happening on July 30 from 9AM to 4PM at Castle 1501 Schlatter Rd. Louisville, Ky. 40291 (just Off Bardstown Road). Be sure to plan for some free time off to bring the whole family out for a day of fun with the activities, vendors, food and fun. With a little bit of something for everyone, you can get the most out of your time away from home.
