Jacob & Neley Silvertooth Cocanougher were 1790 pioneer settlers to the canebrakes area of Salt River between Perryville & Danville in then Mercer County but now present day Boyle County. By about 1795 – 1797 they had moved to the Long Run section of Washington County near the Texas community. Some of that farm and homestead is still owned by descendants of Jacob & Neley with a continuous ownership by Cocanougher descendants for over 220 years.
Come celebrate our family. Come learn about your family. Come have FUN. Hope to see you there.
